Summary of 2018
The Reds finished in last place for the fourth consecutive season. It is hard to believe that this is the same team that won 90+ in 2012 and 2013. They started the season 3-18 and finished by losing 9 of their last 12.
The Reds offense was average. Scooter Gennett led the team with a .310 average while Eugenio Suarez led with 34 home runs and 104 RBI. Only two members of the Reds hit more than 17 home runs.
Only one team in the National League had a higher ERA than the Reds. They gave up the most runs and home runs in the league. Six starters gave up more than 20 home runs last season.
